A 5,000 sq ft nonprofit media makerspace and public access TV station designed to empower creators, filmmakers, podcasters, and the community with professional media tools.

Verbadem was founded by wife-and-husband team Ellen and Sergio Angeles. Ellen, a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist, grew tired of spending hours manually conducting speech-language analyses. One day, she turned to Sergio and asked if there was a way technology could make her work easier. Countless late nights and weekends later, Verbadem was born—a platform that blends their shared love of language and technology into an all-in-one tool that makes speech-language analysis faster, simpler, and more accessible for everyone.

Bulit in response to dying local news ecosystem in Longmont, CO, the Longmont Observer was born as a nonprofit, community-driven local news outlet built to increase access to trustworthy, hyperlocal journalism. At its peak, it reached 75,000+ readers and 150,000+ pageviews. It was basically a makerspace for news, as we taught the community to become journalists. The Longmont Observer entity eventually became Longmont Public Media due to winning a contract for public access tv services. The newspaper component was later acquired by the Compass Experiment, led by Google and McClatchy. It is now named the Longmont Leader.

A boutique IT consulting firm focused on automation, web development, and systems integration for local businesses.

Conjr was a travel mobile app connecting travelers with locals through mutual connections. Think Hinge, but not dating. Wouldn't it be nice to know someone in a country you are traveling to ahead of time and be able to ask questions? That was the gist. Built an Android app leveraging firebase as the backend. Utilized Facebook API to check for mutual connections. Launched in beta, but never went anywhere due to lack of marketing, sales, and network effects.
