I wanted to know how our council members vote. After hoping there would be an API for it, there wasn't. Votes are mentioned on minutes that council members approved. Sigh. So, I built longmontcitycouncil.org Using minutes, we parse out and store the votes into a database. Now its searchable, and you can see how each city council member voted. So far, 2026 data has been added. But hoping to add more over time. Project is built with Django, PostgreSQL, and html / css front end. It's been a fun project to build!
